Artist's Statement
Wraith Wrap is an animated beacon towering high above its environs and calling to all in a soothing, yet slightly ominous tone. Its song attempts to console and cajole, to embrace and enlighten, to revere and reminisce. It looks out and up while raising its arms and proclaiming its ghostly chant.

Nightshirts, my first piece for Forest Hills, is sited just above a 19th century family lot. It echoes and honors the generations of people connected to this place.
Nightshirts has a gentle quality, evoking a Victorian family which has returned to the world of the living for a brief visit. I have created something quite different for ReVisited. Wraith Wrap is a singular totem sited high on a hill and serves as a beacon for visitors. Its grand scale, wrapped around a majestic maple tree, speaks of an otherworldly being.
