Artist's Statement
Allow me an image. The image of an inaccessible moment.
– from Dusk, by Juan Munoz

The sublime moment exists if we allow the time and space for it to develop. It is not a manufactured moment; it is an opportunistic moment, as when the slight movement of a stone underfoot transports one back to the past, instantly and without reservation.

The Poet's Chair now resides in the company of great personal histories, some known, and some unknown. Amongst the rock formations, trees, and markers are the stories of generations of people who sat and wondered – just as we do – about life.
