Through every installation I explore an aesthetic, personal, and collective
balance of chaos, order, and repetition. I feel this raw language resonates
physically, emotionally, and spiritually within and around all of us.
I is the first in a series which I will use to explore this balance through
reflection. The array of mirrors has immediate connection to the four
it takes in and reflects or gives back the earth,
air, fire, and water around it. The mirrors suggest multiple pools of
water, identically shaped but each casting a unique reflection that changes
as you move about and past it on the forest floor. Mirrors carry many
historic and metaphoric associations; the echoes of themes of life, identity,
flux, and the soul connect these sim
to list of participating artists.
